2006 SERVICE PLAN

Major changes to Marin's local bus service are scheduled to occur in July and September 2006! The 2006 Service Plan provides details regarding these service changes including new routes and schedules.

Marin Transit thanks everyone that has submitted comments by email, phone, at one of the five public meetings, or at the two board hearings.

Marin Transit is pleased to announce the rural service plan was adopted May 16th and service will start July 1st.

The rest of the service plan was adopted May 30th and will be implemented September 10th. Services affected included:

Local Bus Service operated by Golden Gate Transit
Supplemental School Services operated by Golden Gate Transit
The West Marin Stage
Larkspur/Corte Madera Shuttle
Santa Venetia Shuttle/School Service

Rider Training and Outreach

Marin Transit hosted a series of Open Houses throughout the County in August and September 2006 to help train transit riders on how to use the new system.
